Humans walked down the narrow streets carrying grocery bags, taking children to and from school, and going about their normal daily lives. To them, the universe was what they saw before them – cracked pavement, wooden walls, and steel bars. They didn’t See the world underneath that physical exterior, they didn’t See what Dameon could.

Dameon, and others of his kind like the Champions, could sense the world that lay beneath that of physical sight. He could see the pink aura of the little girl skipping down the sidewalk, the spark of angry electricity between an arguing couple, could feel the loving care with which the tiny shop across the street was built.
