PAUL
DIAMOND
Author
of:
Chill
Factor
After
his service in the Royal Navy in World
War II and a stint in University, Paul
Diamond spent his career working in
medical research laboratories; none of
them remotely like the laboratory
described in Chill Factor. During this
time, his writing consisted of reports
for scientific journals and a textbook
on laboratory techniques, which was
published with some success at in the
UK and separately in the USA.
After
he retired, he began writing on a much
wider basis. His short stories have
been published in ‘little’
magazines and a series of articles on
investing in antiques appeared in a
financial publication. He has written
sketches and songs for the
professional stage and columns for a
UK national weekly newspaper.
Chill
Factor is
his first novel. It was a finalist in
the category of Best Mystery Novel in
the EPPIE awards for books published
on line in 2003.
